What is not covered in the plan?


  • the provision of any temporary pair of glasses pending completion of BonLook's processing of the Product Repair or Product Replacement;
  • any damage caused to a product that is not a Covered Product;
  • any damage caused by (a) any abuse or misuse of a Covered Product, (b) any fire, natural disaster, earthquake or any other similar external cause, (c) any use of a Covered Product that is not consistent with the use permitted or approved by BonLook, or (d) any repairs, adjustments or alterations to a Covered Product by anyone other than an authorized BonLook representative;
  • any damage caused by the use of any Covered Product by an individual other than the Beneficiary;
  • any damage to decorative ornaments or accessories attached to a Covered Product;
  • cleaning, adjustments or fitting sessions;
  • the replacement of a Covered Product because of it no longer being used;
  • repair or replacement of a Covered Product due to any medical or health reason;
  • the repair or replacement of any Covered Product whose serial number has been modified, altered or deleted;
  • the repair or replacement of any Covered Product that has been modified to materially change its functionality or destined use without the written consent of BonLook;
  • the repair or replacement of any lost or stolen Covered Product. This Plan only covers the Covered Product that is returned to BonLook in its entirety;
  • any eye examination;
  • any medical, ophthalmological or other expenditure related to eye and vision care, examinations or treatments;
  • any delay in the provision of services under this Plan;
  • any damage caused to a Covered Product other than damage expressly covered in the event of Covered Frame Damage or Covered Lens Damage;
  • any repair of a Covered Product beyond the sole Repair of the Product included under this Plan;
  • any maintenance (including preventive maintenance) of any Covered Product;
  • subject to public order, any damage (including bodily injury) suffered by the Beneficiary resulting from such Beneficiary's use of a Covered Product; and
  • any failure resulting from normal wear and tear or normal aging of a Covered Product.
