Everything you need to know about PD (pupillary distance)

The Pupillary Distance (PD) is the distance between the center of your two pupils. It is a necessary measurement for our lab to ensure that your prescription is properly centered within the lenses.

1. How to obtain your PD

Ask your optometrist during your next eye exam.

If it is not on your prescription, we can measure it in any BonLook store (for free) with an optician or from a photo!

2. How to take the photo to measure your PD:

- Remove your glasses and stand in a well-lit area so that your pupils are visible.

- Hold a standard-sized card (like a credit card) under your nose, against your face.

- Make sure your head is straight and you're looking directly at the camera (not at your screen).

- Take the photo from about 30 cm away from the camera (about the length of a ruler).

- Send us your photo:

Upload it to your BonLook account, in your order, or email it to support@bonlook.com

Minors: The measurements must be taken by an optician in-store.
