Blue Light filter

Blue light is emitted by both natural and artificial sources, such as screens from phones, tablets, computers, and televisions. Screens emit up to 100 times more blue light than natural sources, which can lead to symptoms such as eye strain, headaches, and sleep disturbances.

To reduce these effects and protect your eyes, we recommend lenses with blue light protection.

This treatment, applied to both surfaces of the lens, helps filter blue light while maintaining transparency with a slight gray or yellow tint. This reduces glare and light sensitivity.

This treatment is particularly recommended for those who spend a lot of time in front of a screen.

The protection is available for lenses with or without a prescription, for an additional fee of $75 CAD ( $50 USD on our US website). There’s no need for it to be mentioned on your prescription to add it to your lenses.
